Friday 14 January 2011:

I am pleased to announce my first major show in years, at the Capital Athletic Club located on 8th and P streets in downtown Sacramento. An opening reception will be held there from 6 to 7 p.m. on Friday, January 21, and the show will be up through March 20. Even if I don't see you at the reception, the mosaics would sure love to see you if you get a chance to stop by anytime the Club is open. (More information about the Club and its hours is available at www.capitalac.com.)

There are several new pieces in the show that I have not yet had a chance to get up on this site, but we'll get them up soon.

My Braille teacher, Darlene Walker, seeing my "Black Hole" piece.

Photographer artist Pete Eckert (he has RP, too) is in the background with his guide, Clancy.

I'm talking to Scott Morris and his son Joseph. Scott and I went to McGeorge School of Law together, and later practiced with the firm of Kronick, Moskovitz, Tiedemann & Girard. He's still there (and he's still a nice guy,
too).
